paint brushes

Hi everyone, what brand of paint brushes are the best for painting miniatures, and whats the best material that the bristles should be made out of. I'm asking because i have some of the GW ones and it seems that they don't last very long, and i do take pretty good care of them.

Most folks I know swear by Winsor and Newton series 7 brushes. I have those and their university series brushes. Perhaps it's just me, but the university brushes tend to hold their point better.

Re:paint brushes

A nice sable brush with a good, clean tip is always useful.

The W&NS7 are a great brush and you can pick them up on Ebay quite cheap. Just made sure you pick up a standard and a highlighting brush. Makes all the difference just to have a nice brush for edge highlighting (using the side of the brush to light brush the edging).

Great stuff.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Don't ever leave them in a glass of water once you're finished with him, you'll bend the bristles and it'll never be the same again.

FML I have done this a lot. Damn awareness.
