				<description><![CDATA[ I started collecting Space Marines like 2 years ago, bought some models and sadly had to put my army on the side because of university. Now I have a lot more free time and recently got back into it, but need help building my army. Keep in mind that I already have some models done and absolutely want to use them all. Here what I already have:<br /> <br /> 15 tactical marines (I've included my 5 sword brethren unit in there)<br /> 5 assault marines<br /> 5 scout sniper<br /> 5 assault terminators<br /> 1 dreadnought<br /> <br /> <br /> I've created about 17 army lists on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> builder but I'm having a couple of different problems...mainly with my assault termies because it's obviously too risky to deep strike them, so they HAVE to ride a land raider. But putting them in a land raider means i can't take a 10+ crusade squad unless it's footslogging (which sound stupid to do in the 6th edition). So yeah I kinda feel bad playing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(15);'>BT</span> and not using the big crusader squad...is it really that useful? what should i do...<br /> <br /> My other problem is with my dreadnought....I can't seem to find which role to give him, my first idea was to keep his melta and put him in a drop pod so he can do damages behind enemies lines...but since i don't want to have to deep strike him on my first turn...i have to use another drop pod with a crusade squad inside...and I don't see the tactical advantage in doing so<br /> <br /> So here's one of my latest list, tell me what you think, I'm a bit of a n00b...and sorry for my bad english. 				<description><![CDATA[ Some may disagree, but drop pods are the only sure way of getting into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, so I would take as many 10 man units with drop pods as possible, also for shooting take meltas, so you pop the tanks and you get the juicy  infantry or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> left for your swarms.]]></description>

Turn 1 you drop down whichever units take your fancy, and they'll hopefully kill a vehicle or two and then serve as a distraction, while late in the game your other pods come in, and your terminators will deepstrike. Since you'll already have a strong presence in your enemy's deployment zone, your terminators should be relatively safe from shooting, the small unit size should keep them safer from mishaps, and the stormshields will make the unit pretty survivable. <br /> Ultimately the goal of army so far was to open the enemy up for your chapter master and massive crusader squad in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, and the assault squad can join in as well if you're facing a particularly nasty unit. <br /> Now you will have to drop the sniper scouts, but if you want to expand to 2K you could easily bring them alongside a nice land speeder and really fill out your army.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ That's your choice entirely, on one hand you can be a bigger first turn threat with bolters, but since meltas are assault weapons you could certainly run them with pistols and chainswords effectively. <br /> 5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> marines will certainly not be a threat to most units, but they will be very capable of tying up an enemy unit for a turn or two while the rest of your army pushes forward.<br /> I'd consider running both loadouts since the two squads would be identical otherwise, and that way you can play to decide which you like the most while keeping your army rather versatile. <br /> If you really decide you like shooting pods it might be worthwhile to include a heavy weapon as well, and if you prefer <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> it might be worthwhile to bring a powerfist and/or drop the combimelta for a power weapon.<br /> Also, in case you aren't aware our characters reroll all failed hits and get rending while in a challenge, so even a basic sword brother has the potential to wound on something much better than he is with some luck on your side.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Alright so I've updated my list using some of your advices.<br /> <br /> First of all, I've focused more on a drop pod army, I always liked that concept and it fit the profile of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(15);'>BT</span>, I guess I just did not have to guts to do it. Not being able to assault on the turn I disembark seemed too risky to me, but I guess I need to go all in and just mess with whatever strategy my adversary have. I like that.<br /> <br /> I don't really like the idea to but so many points in a single <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, so I've kept my 2x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> captain (really want to use that sword brethren model, plus 2x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> seem perfect for challenges) but like suggested, I've added Artificer Armor for extra survivability. I also need to keep my command squad, it's already painted and it looks really good, so I gave them a drop pod with my captain.<br /> <br /> I removed my Chaplain (even though <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(15);'>BT</span> need to have a chaplain!) but I'd like to include him in a 2000pts army. I like the idea of him leading my Assault Marines.<br /> <br /> I created a big troop and gave it a land raider, and created two drop pod of 5 marines, one for anti tank that drop on the first turn and another ranged one to hold or capture objectives<br /> <br /> I gave venerable to my dreadnought, would drop it on the first turn.
