I came second out of 80 people with farseer, 2x10 guardians in serpents (SL, SC) and 3 walkers with star/scatters. Fire dragons are probably overkill at 500, maybe even at 750. If you want them they really need to be meched up. The exarch is usually not needed-5 naked dragons do the job fine. If you really want the exarch, drop the pike. Fast shot+exarch is marginally cheaper than another dragon, and is BS5. Iron resolve is dirt cheap for the bonus you get, so consider it with spare points.

Serpents need scatter lasers and holo fields. If you have a lot, you could toss the holo fields but keep the scatter lasers.

Wraithlords are okay, but they need two guns. Dual lances, dual scatter, scatter/star, scatter/shuri and even dual shuri can work. The lance, scatter/star and dual scatter are my favorite.
