I instead chose Privateer Press's excellent game Warmachine with the faction of Cygnar. After saving my money and getting some extra money from my grandparents and parents, I have built up to about 45 points worth of miniatures with three casters. I started getting interested when I moved and went into a shop to play MTG. They sell 40k and warma-hordes there and I was intrigued immediately. That's when I got interested in 40k. I also do some tabletop gaming but not much. It's a cool way to get started, and at only 200 pts per side, you can get away with spending maybe only $60 to field an army.
