Not sure if Jain is the best choice for the clowns, as they don't have battle focus so they don't profit from her warlord trait. THey are already beast enough in combat. Maugan ra will add another gun to the unit for less, and is still no slouch in cc.

Fusion pistols are not worth it on the clowns, as they need to be point blank against armor before it matters. Great if you manage to shoot a land raider then assault the troops inside, but get your AT elsewhere, like more spiders.

The spinnerete rifle is okay if you use it correctly, but always take fast shot over marksman's eye. Question if I were to get Maugan for cheaper, drop pistols I would have more points, what further models would you recommend. That's it, jain zar is fantastic with harlequins, she gives them the Ap2 they need if you don't get doom off with the seer, also the fact she lowers WS by 5!!! means any hits coming back are hitting on 5s (mostly) I like fusion pistols, never leave home with out them they crack armour and ID those IC every once in a while which is fun.
