Hi Guys, I've been working on speed painting an all Khorne 40k force in my (very limited - Fatherhood) spare time.

If I had to make any suggestions, I would say that maybe your metallics on those Marines could use a bit more of a wash to make them seem more grim and dirty, but that's more of a personal preference over a lack of technique on your part.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of your work! Keep it up!

Love that you've used that bright green to contrast with the red & like Hotrod says the colour of the marines really works.

thank you! Everything Khorne seems naturally quick to paint! I actually live painting bloodletters now :-)

the tails idea is brilliantly awesome and i will be stealing it for a one unit!

in working on a unit of 2nd and 3rd ed bloodletters now, your failed bloodletters look awesome and nowt wrong with your painting either!

I've just finished a unit of 3rd ed blood letters (AXES!) pics soon as they are based tomorrow...

Then its a unit of 2nd ed ones to do (Frustratingly I've lost the banner top! so will have to make one!)

I did write a brief backstory on another forum, but it's gone walkies...

But the basic idea is a noble, hard hitting space marine chapter, being 'cursed' by Khorne after besting a difficult enemy and being forced by circumstance to use a relic that would have appeared to be untouched by chaos (sealing their fate). The entire chapter then proceeds to undo every noble deed, and seek nothing but the destruction of everything they come into contact with.
