Tyranid killteam help

I've got a couple killteam games weekend and wanted to run my nids for it so I was hoping to get some help with what I'm bringing.

I was thinking;

Broodlord - adrenal glands
6x genestealers - scything talons, adrenal glands

But that leaves me crippled in shooting

So maybe

5x Tyranid warriors - devourers, scything talons, adrenal glands

Tyranid killteam help

I dont know much about tyranids (being a gk, orks and tau plater) but i do know that in kill team you need strong guys but also it helps to have numbers so your oponent has to spread out their attacks or face being swarmed so i suggest taking a tervigon. I dont know how many points that would cost but take that and some hormagaunts or genestealers to fill up the points. Then you have shooting and numbers from the tervigaunts and a constant supply of more gaunts from the tervigon as well as some strong hitting power and a good shot absorber. But again, i dont know how many pointd that would cost, maybe it exceeds the limit for killteam. If it does, please disregard everything i just said and take the warriors you said.

Warriors are probably your best bet.... balanced in "shooting"and CC; 3 wounds; and as long as you can get some cover, (25% for 5+ in 6th), downright survivable!

I agree with the warriors. With killteam, its a lot harder to ID them, so the negatives for warriors tend to drop off. What you get are strong cc and shooting for a good price that can fulfill multiple roles.
The other option is to go with a couple shrikes paired with either terms or horms. You could fit 4 shrikes and 20 terms in a 200 pt kill team. You get synapse that can move across the board very quickly and tons of bodies on the table.
