I need a plastic bare-chested human torso for a conversion, but after scanning the GW ranges I still haven't found a perfect candidate. I'd like it as close to nude as possible, with as few details of clutter, equipment, or accesories as possible. The level of muscularity isn't that important; jacked or scrawny are both workable.

There are several bare torsos with vests/covered backs (Empire Flagellants, various Catachans) but they would take some serious carving and resculpting to work. There are also a few candidates that are nearly completely bare (Savage Orcs, Gors, Ungors) but none of them have perfect human dimensions. I've also looked at Chaos Marauders, but they have a lot of straps and buckles that would need to be carved away.

There is a huge library of miniatures available from them (hundreds available in plastic for a very small amount of money) and many of the models are available in pieces. (If a model has an icon of a puzzlepiece underneath it, it indicates that you can just purchase single components of a multi-part model, which can save you dough when you're looking for bitz.)

I think both of mine came off the Catachan Command sprues. Do you know where the bandolier one originates?
