I would put scatter lasers in the guardian squads, combine them and let your HQ's hang out here. You get 11 S6 shots at 3', twin linked from the seer. Fearless, with a ton of ablative wounds. It is not the most competitive thing, but it is incredibly fun.

You will need a 2nd troop, so I would go with cheap jetbikes and/or rangers, to get into your opponents backfield and linebreak/score.

The hunter exarch can either take starcannons or lances, not both.

If you want to use a hemlock, you need a lot of rangers/support batteries and other pinning weapons. It does do nasty things to certain deathstars, however.

Keep your hornets cheap by dropping vectored engines, maybe the stones. I personally like dual pulse lasers, but it is up to you.
