Those silly flight stands break off on most of my other skimmer models.

You can get 1/4" diameter rods at some hobby stores, and I drill holes in the bottom of the model. When there is not a solid area to drill into (for example, the shape is not flat) I drill what I can, and insert a small section of brass pipe (from hobby or hardware store) into the hole, and the supporting rod slips into that.

I ended up getting a plasticard rod and running it down the length of the spine - fixed that right up. It's not related, but it can help the structure considering how sketchy all the individual joins are in the Ghost Ark.
