I followed GWs method of layering and that just takes too much time. I stumbled across this product and, from what I am reading, it appears that I could base white, wash with this, and have minimal to no cleanup on the white due to the fact that this does not discolor the miniatures that much. I have used GW Nuln Oil and it darkens the mini just too much and then requires a lot of cleanup unless you are selective on where you apply it which leads me to the Secret Weapon Soft Body.

Based on what I have read, it is supposed to have less pigment as GWs Nuln Oil and not change the overall color of the mini. Not sure if that is true or not.

My suggestion is to put the wash you are using directly into the parts you want darkening as best you can. I think ill give it a go. I need to pick up a wash for shading white as well. Will post results
