				<title>Blood Angels 1250 pt list for an escaltion league</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So I've been playing in an escalation league where we add 200 pts a week. I've been doing pretty good so far. I was one wound on an oblit away from tabling my first opponent, I TABLED a tau opponent, which felt great, because blood angels and tau are about as mis-matched in terms of army quality as you're likely to find in this edition of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span>, and then lost to a guard player (whiffed with literally all my rolls on turn two, then he counter shot, missed with nothing and obliterated my army, it happens sometimes).<br /> <br /> I'm still at or near the top of the standings, so if I win the rest of my games, I'm very likely to take home the prize of a brand new knight (!) so I'm taking this very seriously.<br /> <br /> Here's my 1050 pt list<br /> <br /> Mephiston<br /> <br /> Razorback w/ heavy bolters carrying:<br /> 5x assault marines, melta gun, serg w/ 2 plasma pistols, and CORBULO<br /> <br /> 10x assault marines w/ two melta guns, sergeant w/ plasma pistol, power axe, combat shield<br /> <br /> 6x sniper scouts w/ one missile launcher and camo cloaks<br /> <br /> 2x vengeance weapon batteries w/ quad Icarus lascannons<br /> 1 barricade section<br /> <br /> <br /> I'm pretty happy with that list so far, I'm sort of on the fence with the camo cloaks on the scouts. Blood Angels overpay for their cloaks, so I'm debating ditching them for extra scouts...<br /> <br /> <br /> Anyway, so I need to add 200 pts for this week, and here's what I'm debating between:<br /> <br /> #1<br /> <br /> Librarian Dreadnough w/ wings and shield <br /> <br /> one extra sniper scout<br /> <br /> This allows me to have the librarian advance with the razorback, meph, and the assault marines, keeping them permanently in cover, and he's a beast against 2+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(157);'>sv</span> dudes, which is the only thing meph can't steamroll.<br /> <br /> One downside is he is a 175pt model that can be theoretically one shotted, and I'm not feeling at all lucky after my last game...<br /> <br /> <br /> #2<br /> <br /> 5 man assault squad w/ flamer and serg w/ hand flamer<br /> <br /> one extra sniper scout<br /> <br /> inquisitor w/ hell rifle, prescience, force axe, 3 servo skulls<br /> <br /> <br /> With this configuration I have an extra scoring unit, that honestly I'm not sure I need, my army is more spread out and can handle a wider variety of threats, which I'm also not sure I need, and the inquisitor would lead the scouts, making them twin linked, which they sorely need, in addition to adding her own S6 AP3 rending shot, which is not bad at all. Also the servo skulls nerf enemy infiltrators and scouts. woooo<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I sorta think configuration #1 is better, but like I said, I'm not feeling at all lucky.<br /> <br /> Thoughts people?
