The tactics (basically) are this. The infantry, dug in behind the defence line, are the anvil. The tanks are the hammer. In an objective game, I would deploy all the troops behind the defence line with two objectives. One of the veteran squads will man the quad gun. If I get the old grudes warlord trait then the demolishers and possibly the russ squadron will outflank, whilst the tank commander's squadron and the exterminators move up on either flank. I will use the vanquisher to take out anti tank hopefully on the fist turn. By forcing the foe into the middle of the board with the flanking russ squadrons, I will create a killing zone in the centre.
