Does Terrify cause two morale tests?

Maledictions last until the start of your next psychic phase.

Terrify says the target must take a morale test at the end of the psychic phase.
During the enemy's psychic phase, your malediction is still in effect. Does the target have to take a morale test at the end of his psychic phase?

Appended: The wording in 6th was that the unit must IMMEDIATELY take a morale check, limiting it to one test immediately when the power was cast.. The new edition is changed to "at the end of the psychic phase". There are two psychic phases in a game turn.

Well, RAW...yeah. It doesn't specify at all. A psychic phase ends, unit is under malediction terrify, so it has to make a morale test. at -1 even... Cute.

The rule specifies that the negative to leadership, and the treating all enemies as having fear last the entire duration of the power. The must test at the end of the psychic phase is a one time direction.

(also, just reread the power... how much BS is it that Terrify no longer takes away a unit's Fearless special rule)

Maledictions last until your next psychic phase unless otherwise stated. Terrify does not state that the morale test is a one time thing.

Not saying that it lasts the entire duration is not the same as saying as it does not last the entire duration.

6th edition wording similarly separated the morale check from the "until the start of your next turn" sentence, however they felt the need to include the specification that the test happens immediately, and therefore only once. Any sentence that describes an ongoing effect begins with the words "Whilst/While this power is an effect, ..." Thus any sentence that doesn't start with those words only has a one time impact.
Does Terrify cause two morale tests?

I definitely don't think this is how it was intended.
Especially since the second morale test would happen immediately following your own movement, causing lots of pointless, wasted movement time.
Nonetheless, RAW...
If I were a TO though, I think I'd make them roll it.
Does Terrify cause two morale tests?

The powers separate buffs and debuffs from actions. "Whilst the power is in effect" serves to specify the length of the buffs/debuffs. The actions are separated with instructions on when to perform them.

Hallucination - "Roll once the power has been successfully manifested"
Levitation - "The psyker and his unit immediately make a move"
Objuration Mechanicum - "in addition the unit suffers a single hit"

All of the powers that have actions list Exactly when to use them. "Immediately", "a single hit". Terrify has an action and specifies to use it at the end of the psychic phase, which there are two of. It has permission from Maledictions to last until your next psychic phase. It has NO restriction stated that it does not last until your next psychic phase.

Automatically Appended Next Post:

Fos Kenos wrote:
Especially since the second morale test would happen immediately following your own movement.

I'm not following that logic... Your psychic phase comes AFTER your movement phase. the morale test comes at the end of the psychic phase. so it would happen just before your shooting phase, and just before your opponent's shooting phase. Why would the second test happen immediately following your own movement phase?
