A tough question. I've seen a lot, but some of my favorites are from Hawk Wargames. The resistance models are perfect examples. They are 10mm and have suspension and drive shaft detailing under the vehicle.

http://natfka.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-resistence-revealed-for-dropzone.html

The wild west exodus longer by outlaw miniatures are absolutely incredible. The resin characters are fantastic but even their plastics beat gw hands down. I mean come on, the union soldiers have US in raised lettering on their tiny belt buckles.

Re:What's the most detailed model you have ever seen? (Doesn't have to be GW)

I guess I would have to ask what you mean by "detail?" To me, greeble is not detail, as it serves no purpose other than being "detail for the sake of detail."

Offhand, I would pick a model like the Sicaran tank. Clean lines, well designed, and everything you see on it appears to have a purpose.

I also really like this Void Navigator. Perhaps a "simple" model, but the finished sculpt is quite amazing in it's appearance.
