Pewter Forestry Items

So I am creating Warhawk riders for my Warhammer Fantasy Wood Elf army. I used the Eagles from the Hobbit, and the long flying stems and positioned them well enough to where they can even fit on a movement tray together........

However they are very top weighted. I am looking around for Pewter forestry bits but can not find any. Does anyone know where I can find Pewter-

Bushes
Stones
Logs
Stumps

that will fit on a 50mm square base

Just thinking, would actual stones do the trick? Or failing that, lead fishing weights under bits of bark etc?

Pewter Forestry Items

Find you a model train store.

Forestry is one of the most popular industries to model, so you have them available in a dozen scales from a hundred different manufacturers.

One of the most readily available in the US is Woodland Scenics - and although many people are familiar with their plastic tree kits, they make excellent white metal castings as well of whole trees, tree stumps, and fallen trees:

http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/Item/S32/page/1

http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/Item/S31/page/1

http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/LargeTreeKits

For rocks - Shenloanne is on the right track. Just take bits of white metal and smash it up. Lead is safe enough and easiest to get (split shot from big box stores in their sporting goods departments), lead free can be had from many craft stores, but it won't be as malleable or provide as much weight as a counter balance.

Pewter Forestry Items

Thanks for the advice,

I am not one for using real wood/materials besides rocks, however the area I live in all the small rocks are not dense at all, so they don't add much weight.

I like those stumps I will definitely look for a model train store though.
