My suggestion would be that for your Honor Guard they should be the same color scheme as the rest of your Chapter with one pauldron having the black and silver color scheme to honor their time with the Deathwatch. The reason behind the color difference is to show ye olde random Imperial high muckity muck these guys not only look good but can fight too. You should dress them up, as well. Tabards, helmet crests, purity seals, and fancy shoulder pads are all good things to work with.
