OcGRE located in Orange County, CA. is a non-electronic gaming convention focused on table-top, RPG, CCG and board games.

Orange County Gaming Regional Expo (O.c.G.R.E.) has been designed to bring the non-electronic gaming convention to Orange County.

Why November? We purposely chose November so we could be out of the convention season, giving you one last chance to enjoy a convention in 2014.Great way to end 2014 and bring in 2015.

Why Orange County?Great area and awesome gamers! The convention will be a full-time thrill experience for those attending the convention, but for those of us with significant others that don’t game, there is a ton of things to keep them occupied (e.g. Disneyland, Shopping, etc…)

Why Kickstarter? We are Kickstarting the convention to be able to book the venue for the convention - at the same time giving you a massive savings of at the door price with a lot of special incentives.

Why Wyndham Anaheim Garden Grove? With close to 15,000 square feet, we have plenty of space, and if we hit our stretch goals, we will have more. Oh yeah, FREE PARKING!!!!

The convention will run from 4:00 p.m. of Friday, November 21 - Midnight on Sunday, November 23. This is 56 hours of non-stop gaming! Did we mention FREE PARKING?

Orange County is a hot spot for gaming, be it RPGs, Board Games, Miniatures, Clixs, or CCGs. In the past Henry and Adam have run three successful conventions (SoCal Smackdown 2010, 2011 and 2012), and have rebranded the convention to bring you even more fun.

Events are the cornerstone of a great convention and we are hard at work to make sure that you have plenty of games to play.

Painting Contest: OcGRE has been named an official host of the Draconic Awards. The purpose of the Draconic Awards is to promote miniature painting in the tabletop gaming hobby and to encourage and inspire hobbyist worldwide to become a better artist. The Draconic Awards are situated to try and create not just an atmosphere of friendly competition, but also an interactive community in which everyone can learn and share with each other.

Note: No KickStarter funds will be used for prize support - local game stores or manufacturers will donate all prizes.


When looking for a venue, we took a lot of things into consideration - location, amenities and parking. One of the major concerns we had heard in the past was it needed free parking...so we have FREE Parking!

The Wyndham Anaheim Garden Grove is approximately 3 miles from Disneyland and is surrounded by restaurants and other amenities.
