Necromunda Edition Question

I've been thinking f getting a physical copy of the rulebook but not sure which to look for. There is one with the original + Outlands or there is the Underhive (Necro 2e) book. Anyone have thoughts on the differences between the original and the second edition?

Re:Necromunda Edition Question

I've heard that the second edition rules have some glaring errors and omissions, almost like they released it before it was finished, you can find this easily as a PDF on-line as GW release it as such for free download, although I'm not sure where would be best to get it from now as it is no longer available through their site:

The main rule book that my friends and I use is the compiled Necromunda hard-back that combines the original rules and the outlander rules into one volume. The book is ~312 pages and can sometimes be found on eBay quite cheap (I picked mine up in mint condition for £20.00):

The guys over at yaktribe (formerly Yakromunda) maintain a "living rulebook" which gets updated regularly. They also have many resources with alternative rules, roster management, etc. Well worth a look if you're curious:

http://gaming.yaktribe.org/

I've got quite a few links for various PDF copies of rules, send me a PM for them if you're interested.

Necromunda Edition Question

A slight correction on the previous post.

The Underhive book (2ed) is essentially the version as the LRB as Underhive was the starting point for the LRB. THe LRB wasn't updated that much so they can be used interchange rely with minimum fuss; it's easier to print out the LRB than get the book.

I'll second Yak Tribe, it has everything from all editions there.

Most of the Yakker recommend the New Community Edition (NCE) which they update themselves. While this doesn't have all of the Original content update yet it does combine the streamlining of the LRB with some of the bits that were discarded from the ORB (like being on fire etc) plus adds loads of extra weapons, skills and other bits.

Some things were changed between books, too. For instance, the "Underhive" book eliminated the sustained fire dice from ranged combat, something I thought was a shame.
