				<title>Space Marine 1850 Point List With Imperial Fist Chapter Tactics And Inquisition Ally</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I would drop the extra meat on the devastator squad and give your naked bolter tacticals a pod and a special weapon.  Or no transport and a heavy weapon for objective campers.<br /> <br /> The acolytes could use a transport too.  You'd have to shed more points somewhere though.<br /> <br /> In my experience, the champion is better ran naked as he'll most likely get punked by the enemy character while your smash-master beats up the rest of the enemy unit.<br /> <br /> My 2 cents.  I like the list overall, good balance.]]></description>

				<title>Space Marine 1850 Point List With Imperial Fist Chapter Tactics And Inquisition Ally</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hmm, a few things:<br /> <br /> I don't think the Inquisition Codex gives Coteaz's henchmen Objective Secured... so there's no real point in taking them since everything scores already.<br /> <br /> A Chapter Master equipped that way should cost 230 points.<br /> <br /> Honor Guard can be fun, but I don't really like them from a Stormraven.. I prefer a Land Raider. I find the Stormraven too frequently comes on late and still has to hover for a turn if you want to assault out of it... I just don't think it's terribly effective. A Landraider would allow you to push up and flat out as your pods arrive, giving you a better attack early in the game. Also, without a tactic like that you're hanging your podded units out to dry.<br /> <br /> The IF Devastators are nice. I'd find the points for lascannons if you can... even if that means you only get 3. I think the S9 (and more importantly, the AP2) is going to be invaluable... especially if you can get some ignore cover on there with Coteaz.<br /> <br /> The Centurion <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span> are great, I run them as well. I really enjoy them with Coteaz with some "I've been expecting you" keeping them safe.<br /> <br /> The Sternguard seem alright but you can probably drop the melta bombs... they will most likely die after they shoot, or get tied up with gribbly units.<br /> <br /> I would use the Ironclad to bully infantry units, because most can't even hurt him. I'd equip him with double heavy flamers and keep him away from things that can smash him in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>cc</span>.<br /> <br /> Finally, I guess it's pretty obvious but you're very lite on troops. I can see the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span> and Cents holding an at-home objective, but as far as mobile Objective Secured units go, perhaps you want to try some bikes? You could put the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span> on a bike for 250 and exchange some Tacticals for a more mobile unit to come on from reserves late-game... or maybe look into a 5-man scout squad in land speeder storm? Either way, I think you need some more bodies to hold objectives that can't be contested.<br /> <br /> Hope that helps!]]></description>

I would not go this route.<br /> <br /> My go-to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> is kinda specific to how I play because I use Forge World units and Chapter Tactics, so I often take a Fire Raptor and use Red Hunters Chapter Tactics (so my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> cents blast away fliers, often buffed by divination).<br /> <br /> I would highly recommend the Hunter though, seeing as it's very useful against heavy armored skimmers (barges, wave serpents, arks, speeders, etc.) with it's armourbane shot. I also love that it's 70 points, and I prefer to have a better shot at a 1-shot kill with it than glance to death fliers with a talon or stalker... I used to like the stalker for grounding <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMCs</span>, but that's not the case anymore, unfortunately. I'd recommend a Hunter and Stormtalon pair (I always take skyhammers on the talon though) unless using Forge World... then the Fire Raptor is just amazing (has never let me down yet!)]]></description>

I run that save load-out with Coteaz as Red Hunters all the time and not once have I found that a single lascannon and missile shot was powerful enough to warrant splitfiring... 0/8 games basically was it worth it... I always need all 3 firing at the same target to break it down. I think for the grav load-out it's well worth it... but not here.<br /> <br /> I'd then use those points to give the assault squad 2 flamers.<br /> <br /> Your Objective Secured units are obviously very weak... and sometimes that's ok, but I think because so much of your army is built for killing high toughness/armor, you may struggle removing swarms from an objective... you'll have to let me know if you find that the case!<br /> <br /> For the honor guard, I really like the power mauls, but that's just my personal pref... I definitely appreciate the added strength they give.<br /> <br /> Other than that, it looks good to me; lots of tank hunter, lots of range, some nice units to harass infantry (love the ironclad with dual flamers for this!) and some fun units. I think youi'll be alright to go up against some Knights.]]></description>

I think for the grav load-out it's well worth it... but not here.<br /> <br /> I'd then use those points to give the assault squad 2 flamers.<br /> <br /> Your Objective Secured units are obviously very weak... and sometimes that's ok, but I think because so much of your army is built for killing high toughness/armor, you may struggle removing swarms from an objective... you'll have to let me know if you find that the case!<br /> <br /> For the honor guard, I really like the power mauls, but that's just my personal pref... I definitely appreciate the added strength they give.<br /> <br /> Other than that, it looks good to me; lots of tank hunter, lots of range, some nice units to harass infantry (love the ironclad with dual flamers for this!) and some fun units. 				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the advice mate<br /> <br /> So you reckon just run with 5 Sternguard only?<br /> Was thinking that with 10 and combat squad they could do quite a bit of damage and take some back<br /> <br /> I reckon I have the models for the lascannons but reason that I went for Missiles is that in my club there isnt toooo much armour around and think that could use frags to clear out some hordes....also if there is armour, the Centurions could get rid of them.]]></description>
