Title says it all I'm making a custom unit of cybork nobs to act as an Honour guard to a mad doc. They are to be called the Butcher Boys, they've been hacked appart and sowed back together again that they are beginning to think they can't die. (Hence added doc for cyborkie goodness look)

They're good beginers models, I don't know your experience. But I would start with working on brush control and focus on paint application. They have a general sloppy appearance that I actually think looks pretty good for a stylistic choice. But the sloppy appearance falls apart when you notice that there is no details work at all. You have to paint the eyes. We are always drawn to them and they are a great place to practice your controlled application. I agree with the other poster that the color choice looks really good together too.

Try turning your flash off.

I agree, you need to do some more detail work. Eyes and stuff are important.

Good start!

Great start! My recommendation is to limit your colour palette a bit more, they are very 'busy'!

Thanks guys, so general consensus is pick out the main details like straps, eyes bullets teef, things like that? This is the second set of painting I've ever done. There ment to look kind of a mess I drybrushed warplock bronze then mephiston red to get an oilily gore covered look.

I wish my second set of painting looked this good. Just keep practicing. And yeah, you can still go back and work on the details to improve the overall look. Never tell or claim that you want a messy paint job. I get you're back story, but let the model speak for itself. Like I said, in my opinion the general coverage and colors works. I think with some good layer of detailing added and a solid base, they are something to be proud of.
