Fear of change? warhammer players?

I was wondering if anyone else noticed alot of warhammer/gamesworkshop hobby lovers tend to.... like freak out about change. With my girl working with the mentally ill I noticed a few people not naming names really over reacting about changes that effect them very little since it is just a game and it can be sold for their money back.

Now it is ok if you do have issues with change, I do not do so well myself and I suffer from so called social anxiety in large groups, so not making fun. Just was wondering if your one of the ones who gets upset when gamesworkshop kills a character off or stops making a model and remakes them or the final straw change the rules in such a way that it bothers you more then it probably should. Why do you get upset? If your a orc player.... all your guys die or like my fav vamp Zachariahous.

Fear of change is not a warhammer/tabletop hobby trait, it is a human trait.

You just happen to be in the place where people discuss this thing a lot. And it being an online text-based forum, there's no capacity for tone or interpretation other than the most literal.

Indeed, I could easily say that you are overreacting to this to prove my point.
