Starting up an Alaitoc army and I wanted to keep it fluffy/fun without being totally useless.

All I have come up with so far is:

HQ
Illic Nightspear (140)

Troops
5x Pathfinders (125)
5x Rangers (60)

Elites
5x Striking Scorpions + Exarch w/ Claw (142)

= 467

I'm trying my best to not use Wave Serpents because I've done it before and I know it isn't fun for my friends.

I was thinking maybe War Walkers/Dire Avengers/Swooping Hawks or Warp Spiders

Would love some advice to help me choose how to go about this.

Sticking with Craftworld Eldar though, War Walkers of course but a Crimson Hunter would be a good addition as well. If you MUST avoid Serpents, a big blob of Guardians could fill a decent role with a Warlock. Could fill out the points with them and a Starcannon or Bright Lance led on a leash.
