Blood Angel's Chaotic Successor Chapter

It was rumoured that BA will have a successor chapter that has fallen to Chaos and that it will not be the Flesh Tearers.
Does anyone else think that this could be the Crimson Slaughter as their chapter came out of nowhere, and their origin is largely unknown (I believe), so what do you think?

Blood Angel's Chaotic Successor Chapter

The Knights of Blood are the only ones listed (that I've found) that are considered renegades, and it wasn't because they worshipped Chaos, they simply killed faster, harder, and more innocent people than most other Chapters.

Which, when you look at the willingness of particular chapters to disregard the lives of anyone NOT a Space Marine, the KoB being declared renegade is sort of stupid.

Blood Angel's Chaotic Successor Chapter

Positive. The Death of Integrity wasn't when they fell. It was when the readers knew that they were eventually going to fall. Every so often, a Blood Drinker inflicted with the Black Rage, instead of seeing visions of Sanguinius, will see visions of their ancient hero, Holos, who first learned through a Lord of Change that by giving into the Red Thirst, they could manage it. Afterwards, every generation, one of their chapter, through the Black Rage, will follow the Path of Holos, where at the end they will meet that same Lord of Change and be given the choice to be free of their curses, by siding with chaos or to be forever lost by it. As of the Death of Integrity incident, no one who has walked the Path of Holos has given in, leading to painful battlefield deaths, but within the path, past, present, and future are one and it is already known that eventually one will give in and damn the entire chapter.

At the end of the book, it cuts to "present day" where an Inquisitor is looking through ancient records to find out what could've caused this, "Monster to be unleashed." Which certainly implies that they do eventually fall.

But seriously, read Death of Integrity. One of the best of the SMB series.

Khonsu wrote:

jareddm wrote:
The Blood Drinkers do eventually fall to chaos, specifically Tzeentch.
