So after years of walking by the tables of amazing terrain and minis at gencon I have finally taken the leap I have been a long time boardgamer. I have always enjoyed painting minis from said board games but it has never given me much satisfaction. A few weeks ago a new group of guys shows up in the store and asked I they could play 40k. We don't actually carry any wargaming stuff but I told them they were welcome. After watching from the register for a bit I couldn't take it. I was there at the side of the table like a small child. I went to the alliance website and ordered myself a copy of dark vengeance. The group has since been in a few times to play magic and said they have talked about it and want to start playing 40k at our store. I am so excited.so cuddos to a great welcoming group of 40k players.
