SM battle company and a necron lord. Im trying to stray away from the cliche tomb world rising scenario and its been going pretty well. One thing is that what kind of fluffly military organizations do necrons usually run? Most lore sites say that they dont have them or that the necron lord dictates it. Thats perfectly fine as well but for SM, we have little formations or certain doctrines and necrons dont really seem to have any. IDK it shouldnt matter too much but I just want to know if there are any main ones, if there are some. A Nemesor is a dynasty's military commander, serving under a Phaeron, who is the dynasty's overall ruler.

Lychguard are a Phaeron's personal guard, while Immortals are their Household Troops, professional soldiers. A particularly skilled Lychguard might be assigned as a personal bodyguard / champion, holding the rank of Vaargard.

Then you have the auxiliary troops - Warriors, including Tomb Blades, and Canopteks.

So you mean every Necron runs around with Necrodermis clubs and only Necron Lords/Officers have access to Bladed weaponry?
