After a long period of time away from Warhammer 40k to venture into scale aviation modelling and rugby, I've decided to finally return to the hobby.

Last played 3rd Edition, with mainly Imperial Guard armies - Valhallan, Armageddon Steel Legion & a converted Catachan/Cadian force designed to fit the old Codex: Cityfight but had begun to dabble with a small amount of Chaos Space Marines, namely Iron Warriors. It's been that long since I've been around the hobby I'm not even sure what edition of 40k we're on these days!

Primarily interested in the painting and modelling side of things these days and utterly in awe of some of the fantastic efforts I've seen on here!
