Eldar Apothecary

My friend and I are planning a narrative campaign. One of the rules that we came up with is that we must recover losses. In his case, playing space marines, he would have apothecaries collect the geneseed of fallen units. As an Eldar player, I would have to recover spirit stones of fallen units.

So my question: What is the Eldar equivalent of an Apothecary?

We had talked about just using the Warlock, as it could be put in units in a similar fashion to the apothecary.

Probably a Bonesinger of some kind, or some other functionary psychic that isn't often represented on the tabletop, as these are not the sorts of Eldar that would normally see combat action (why send a medic to the front when you can Web-Way casualties to the rear?).

Its not realy what we were trying to do though. We see it more as if they both believe these items are very precious and must be recovered.

Eldar Apothecary

I don't think it's specified. I know wraithknights get the empty ones from the crone worlds, so maybe they collect the full stones as well. Seems like a delicate job for giant fingers wrapped in reality disrupting power fields. I think a jetlock can probably do a drive by and vacuum them up with telekinesis.

If I had to pick a specific unit maybe a Spiritseer? they are a blend of warlock and farseer, and are specifically trained to pull eldar souls back out from the infinity circuit to animate wraith constructs. they also act as a handlers during battle to keep wraith constructs focused.

in game terms a Spiritseer is an IC so they could bounce between units depend on where he needed to harvest from.

Eldar Apothecary

In battle Eldar will recover Spirit Stones as quickly as possible if there is no pressing danger - it tends to be best not to leave them lying around. There are several novels featuring Eldar (Valedor comes to mind) where an Aspect Warrior Exarch retrieves the Spirit Stones of warriors from their Shrine, which seem to be fairly common (particularly since Exarches are often the last ones standing due to their superior skillset).

Otherwise if I had to pick a specific role I would say Spiritseers, since they are responsible for Spirit Stones post death. @chomedog. Spiritseers aren't healers/techmarines, you are thinking of Bonesingers - who repair damaged Wraithbone.
