Exorcists Chapter Tactics

Here's my homebrew Chapter Tactics for Exorcists. I tried to capture their tactical totally not Grey Knights successors nature. Are they balanced?

Exorcists:
Forbidden Knowledge: Exorcists have the Adamantium Will and Preferred Enemy (Daemons) special rules.

Focused Fury: Infantry models in this detachment gain the Counter-Attack special rule. Any unit with this special rule may choose to gain the Shred special rule when firing in the Shooting phase, but may only fire Assault weapons if they choose to do so.

Meditation: At the beginning of your turn you may choose for all models with Chapter Tactics (Exorcists) to enter into Meditation. While under Meditation all models lose And They Shall Know No Fear and the Focused Fury special rules and gain Fearless and re-roll saving throws of 1. You may end Meditation at the beginning of your turn.

I would get rid of the shred part of the second rule (which squads have multiple assault weapons that would really benefit that much from shred?
I want the two rules to be used throughout the game, not like Ultramarine Doctrines.

I don't know how OP it would be compared to something like Raptors who get Rending Bolters and Bolt Pistols in exchange for not moving or assaulting.

But, I do see your point here's my update:

Focused Fury: Infantry models in this detachment gain the Counter-Attack special rule. Any unit with this special rule may choose to re-roll failed to wound rolls of 1 when firing in the Shooting phase or during Overwatch, but may only fire Assault weapons if they choose to do so.

Meditation: At the beginning of your turn you may choose for all models with Chapter Tactics (Exorcists) to enter into Meditation. While under Meditation all models lose And They Shall Know No Fear and the Focused Fury special rules and gain Fearless and may make a Feel No Pain roll on a saving throw of 1. You may end Meditation at the beginning of your turn.

Yeh I like it.
Keep forbidden knowledge for definite though! That's the fluffiest part!

Quick question. What are you going for with this 'assault weapons only' thing? The only units I see that benefitting are sternies or command squads with flamers/combiflamers? Is it that you want it to benefit? If so I would also maybe add that tac squads can take heavy flamers. Then more of the army could benefit from it. Of course the CT then start to get extensive.

The Exorcists are established in Fluff already: http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Exorcists

When Forge World released Chapter Tactics, they just said screw it, use any Chapter Tactics you want, instead of giving them proper rules.

Assault Weapons Only is an indirect buff to assault. I was considering giving them Rage, but I think it might be OP.

here's the final rules:

Exorcists:
Forbidden Knowledge: Exorcists have the Adamantium Will and Preferred Enemy (Daemons) special rules.

Focused Fury: Infantry models in this detachment gain the Counter-Attack special rule.
There really isn't any Book keeping, you either have Focused Fury or Meditation for your entire Army.

Also, I think I'll change Focused Fury to Counter-Attack and Hammer of Wrath.

Focused Fury: Infantry models in this detachment gain the Counter-Attack and Hammer of Wrath special rules.

Meditation: At the beginning of your turn you may choose for all models with Chapter Tactics (Exorcists) to enter into Meditation. While under Meditation all models lose the And They Shall Know No Fear and the Focused Fury special rules and gain Fearless and may make a Feel No Pain (5+) roll on a saving throw of 1. You may end Meditation at the beginning of your turn.

Mantis Warriors get Hammer of Wrath and can get Furious Charge if they charge out of cover, so I think it balances out.

Mark of Khorne is Counter-Attack and Rage. Space Sharks (Carcharodons) only get Rage when they win an assault and must charge the nearest enemy unit they can reach. Rage is a really powerful special rule.
