I'm a HS student who's been lurking Dakka for years, wargaming (with dice & such) since 2011, and interested for way longer. I mostly play RPGs, to be honest, and dabble in wargames with less than 20 minis. I often write rulesets for my friends to try out, and am working on a little project in my spare time right now. I must admit to adoring the 40k and Fantasy fluff, although I'm prone to selectively ignoring bits I don't like when DMing Rogue Trader, grimdark being like salt for me, and sometimes, just not my thing. For analog games, my poisons of choice are Killteam, Song of Blades and Heroes, and my homebrew concoctions. Just so you know, gaming in a small outdoorsy valley town is hard. My most recently painted mini is a 15mm Retained Knight by alternative armies, intended to represent Pedro Kantor or another CF officer. No, I don't have more than 200 points of anything.

When I head off to college in a year and a half, I intend to do Army ROTC and branch aviation, maybe I'll head to seminary after I've done some time with the military.
