I may be missing something, and require a more in depth scouring of the rules, but I don't understand what the big deal is. It doesn't seem that far a change from sixth, and some of the changes that are there I can appreciate.
The inclusion of the Psychi Phase (or reintroduction rather) is something that I was really happy to see. It reminds me more of the Magic Phase in WHFB, which is great and seems to make sense.

The other big change is the Force Organization charts. While some have stated that FOC's are gone, they clearly are not. The difference being that there is an option to run a list without one, but that is an OPTION not the necessarily the norm as they've introduced incentives to sticking to your book.

The "FOC is gone" remark is hyperbole; the sheer number of dataslates and single models that are allowed to be your primary detachment means that you can do a lot of things you (arguably) shouldn't be able to do without actually fielding Unbound lists; Codexes these days come with alternate detachment types and Apocalypse-style formations.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/633698/7553754.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/633698/7553754.page GMT
