Immediately after a Monolith arrives from this formation, choose one friendly Necron unit that is entirely infantry or jump infantry that is in reserve. Place it as though disembarking from the Monolith's eternity gate.


So this raises a couple questions for me.

First: if I roll for a Monolith in this formation to arrive on turn 2, and the roll is successful, can I perform the Deep Strike on the Obelisk first, then Deep Strike the Monolith within 12" of it and gain the benefits of this special rule?

Well, I have to roll for the warrior if they're in reserves correct? Whether they succeed or fail the roll won't matter if the Monolith comes in. I'm just confirming if that's how it all works. Maybe I'm missing something. What if the Monolith fails it's reserve roll and does not come in turn 2. The warriors, being in reserves, must still roll for reserves, correct? So it's possible that the warriors will arrive before the Monolith?
