How would YOU build a shooty ork tourney list. Green tide and bully boyz are fine, but I want to try something new.

I was thinking start with a stompa, with a big mek with the super kustom force field from ghaz supliment, with a second big mek from the regular ork codex with a shokk attack gun, a 5 man squad of burnas with 3 meks, and 2 meks for a total of 7 attempts to fix damage, and one it will not die attempt. The problem is its an all the eggs in one basket situation. Thats at least 1k points.

Should I just try and fill my list with as many shoota orks, mek guns, lootas, deffkoptas, and buggies as I can muster.

I would go 3 units of 20 lootas, 20 shoota boyz in wagons, 3 units of lobbas/zapp guns (which ever you prefer), 2 big meks with fields and SAGs (note, keep them with the batteries). MEK Gunz x 5
KMK upgrade 2 extra crew per gun and 1 ammo runt = 39pts per gun so 195pts

In a 1,500pt game you could have 3 of those so 585pts in 3 batteries of KMK's and then Some shoota boyz in Battlewagonz and a Big mek with KFF for protection for your mek gunz. I would recommend a mobile squad of either nobz or trukk boyz to stop any deep strike or outflankers from destroying your gunz.
