Cold ones are considered pretty meh, stupidity failures can completely ruin them.

Besides, you should only be making 2 (at most) stupidity checks a game. I love cold ones, I just run them with Malus Darkblade to remove the stupidity.

Against stuff like Crushers, if they don't get the charge, they lose quite heavily, and it's not so easy to guarantee the charge aganst that type of army.

And if you stick a load of characters in there, why not just take dark riders anyway? Bolt throwers are good.
Doomfire Warlocks are very good too.

Execs are good but I find them a tad fragile.
