Update: I've actually started testing and practicing the color scheme on some extra guardsmen. I think I'll just post whatever I've painted recently and one day have the whole company.

The guardsman I just put in the OP is only dry brushed... no wash or anything used, yet. I see a couple areas I could touch up and stuff, but other than that, I'm wondering what steps to take next... attempt a wash of some kind?

The red came out looking a lot more pink than rusty in the photo... but maybe it does need some more brown...

Anyway... I am really enjoying this, so I think I will try to do some every day and post whenever I get something "finished". If you think of anything specific for me to try, I'd love to hear it.
