Being not much of a gamer, in fact I've never played an actual battle or skirmish from any manufacturer, I do however love amassing tiny armies that I am gradually getting round to painting. Gleefully opening blisters that have remained sealed for years and are considered 'collectors items' I have every intention of painting every single member of my metallic horde, although after a bit of practice of course.

I think the idea of painted armies en masse appeals to my inner megalomaniac! I am gradually getting more of the pikemen painted, I've been quite surprised how much longer they take compared to 6mm, but I suppose I am quite a fussy painter.

I'm generally a bit surprised how under represented the smaller scales are, especially in fantasy where so much of the lore and imagery are rooted in huge pitched battles as opposed to skirmishes.
