I was convinced by some friends of mine to go to Adepticon with them this year, so I started playing and getting my army together starting in January. I know that's a bit of a rushed timeline, but I'm making rapid progess. I wanted to play a solo Tzeentch list, so I've been working on tuning up a screamerstar as my first army.

Through the process I've discovered fun things like the fact that Daemons can't bring more than 4 heralds, so my list with 45 psychic dice was illegal (which is a shame(for me)), that summoned troops *should* be OS, but due to brokenness, aren't, and that units summoned come with upgrades (character, standard, instrument) but greater daemons come un-upgraded.

I'm hoping I'll be able to play decently at Adepticon, since I'd like to make day 2, but the lists that people run locally are all really tough, so I've had a rough start win-wise (Adamantine Lance, Eldar, 4 Hive Tyrants, Droppod Alpha Strike, Wolf-star, etc.). I enjoy the game though, and I'm trying my best to get a handle on the strategy to my list, since it loses out in brute force.

In terms of fluff, I like daemons, and Ahriman, especially rubric marines.
