I've always loved the miniature scene but never could quite afford it to the level I wanted. But after a long time of complaining and then doing research, I took the plunge.

During the day (at that "work" thing), I am the lead designer/creative coordinator for a trade show company. I do 3D modeling and rendering, sometimes animation. I do piles of digital artwork at home for myself and for my friends. The 3D thing is taxing on me enough during the day and I wanted some other artwork to come home to.

I don't really play any miniature games (unless you count Heroscape...LOL!!). We play lots of Fantasy Flight games at home like Descent. But I LOVE painting these things. Making dioramas and squads and some goofy stuff for my kids......Maybe I'll start playing Hordes or Warmachine

Citadel (mainly for glazes and technicals)
Master's Touch brushes (Hobby Lobby's brand)
Kolinsky brushes
Stone Brewing beers (it helps steady the hand!)


Started with almost all Warhammer and 40k models then I found Hordes and Warmachine. I'm really hooked on the Hordes models....just awesome stuff!


But anyway, I'm glad I finally made an account here. Seems like there are some really nice people here and some awesome talent to learn from!
