im haven't played with or against grey knights, so I have no idea what is good/bad, un optimal.

he's willing to grab one more kit as well if need be

My experience is that you get more for the points if you take a Librarian as your HQ, as he can be ML3, and take the DLD for less than Crowe, and he can generate 4 powers from Sanctic, giving around 90% chance of getting Gate of Infinity, so you can have both Terminator Squads jumping around the table at will.

I would make your Strike Squad(s) into Purifiers and put them in the Land Raider if you don't have access to a Storm Raven, so they can get into the fight quickly.

I'd make sure he's running a Nemesis Strike Force because the turn 1 Deep Strike is worth it. It'll also allow you to combine those terminators into 1 squad. They can combat squad later depending on the mission. Then remove the Strike Squad to either get Interceptors or more purifiers.

I used to use Crowe a lot in the last codex but since he no longer makes Purifiers Troops, I stopped using him outside of fun lists. But since that's what you have to work with... Crowe and Draigo should attach themselves to the Purifiers and start the game on the board. Then on turn one, use Draigo's Gate of Infinity to teleport them right in the middle of the enemy units, to allow double Cleansing Flame (one from the Purifiers and one from Crowe) to do as much damage as possible.
