So recently I've been writing up some rules for 40k in an effort to balance and improve the current system. This ruleset is different to other re-writes as it keeps a large portion of the current rules and adds more elements from prior editions, as well as taking inspiration from other wargames out there at the moment too. Im posting here (as ive also done on warseer) for any ideas towards improvements or criticism. I'm using this for house ruling with my friends right now so im not trying to force it on anyone if people get the wrong idea. The idea behind it is to balance out the core rules by taking out the randomness and make more of a tactical and interactive ruleset. After that then working on the codexes to incorporate some of the substantive changes i've made (im working on Space Marines codex at the moment) once the main rules have been playtested and the kinks worked out. Any input and feedback would be very much appreciated! I want to make a joint effort to improve 40k and at the same time if anyone wants to try out these rules then feel free! I will take any and all advice and criticism into account in an effort to make this the best ruleset it can possibly be. Ive already made substantive changes to streamline the rules but any thoughts on what you would like to see in this ruleset would be great too!
