				<description><![CDATA[ Hey everyone, <br /> <br /> I am currently re-reading Frank Herberts Dune series and I want to make a themed army for it but im stuck on rules to proxy with  <img src="/s/i/a/053f30f6773034eb25223d86f0e00d8d.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Now i have a few ideas of how to make them work which I will explain here shortly but what im asking is if you will all please review these simple ideas and point, let me know what you think about them and finally if you have any ideas or suggestions please share! Im excited to model, convert, and scratch work this project and i think it will be fun to get the community involved aswell!<br /> <br /> I hope this is the right forum for this  <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Idea #1<br /> <br /> Tyranids: A pretty obvious choice since they have the trygons, mawlocs, and ravengers. I would use those unites as my "worms" of coarse but for my troops i was thinking of using Converted up cultists and guardsmen as gaunts or genestealers. As for an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> It would be a guy converted up and proxied as a Nid prime and then another model to take the place of a death leaper. Not the most competitive choice of units but proxy wise they fit the role. <br /> <br /> Also with rumors of genestealer cult this could be gooooood<br /> <br /> Idea #2<br /> <br /> Chaos: This would be <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> possibly with CD mixed in, I would use <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(42);'>GD</span> to be the worms, cultists will fill troop slot and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> have access to transports. Here i can have more viable <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span> since they are humanoid. (My meaning is a simple guy can be a sorc but its silly if he was a hive tyrant like in the nid idea  <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> ) I could also possible use maulerfiends to be worms aswell hmmmm <br /> <br /> Hmmm if only I knew what Daemonkin Tzeentch will bring  <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Idea #3<br /> <br /> Dark Eldar: Here is alot of easy models that have that Dune look already plus i enjoy <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> very much, the only issue with them is what will possibly be the worms? They dont have anything resembling them too much not do they really have rules to fit  <img src="/s/i/a/dec8d79950a36218cfae9200a43fa59f.gif" border="0">  I guess the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(541);'>WWP</span> could be a worm coming out of the ground ( Worm Hole anyone?  <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0">  <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> ) but what about my giant worms  <img src="/s/i/a/8f7b3f87df347f2cf6c1e7d5e119a067.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Eldar sort of bring things of value like rangers but didnt seem like much else, I could be mistaken as I dont normally play <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(808);'>CWE</span><br /> <br /> <br /> Well thats the little bit I have so far and im excited to hear your thoughts and ideas aswell!<br /> <br /> As a bonus what other sci fi inspired armies do you guys think would be cool?]]></description>
