Imperial Knights and Iron Hands

I play Iron Hands , but I have been wanting to start a second army for a while and I am looking at adding an Imperial Knight army (will probably add a Skitarii army at some point as well). My question is are there any houses in the fluff of the knights or Iron Hands showing them working together, or maybe in close proximity to each other. I figure at the least I could use one of the ad mech aligned houses. I am trying to keep my armies fluffy. Any help on this is appreciated. I have been scouring the new IK codex and as of yet have not found a specific house that has fought with the Iron Hands.

Re:Imperial Knights and Iron Hands

There's the Freeblade known as Justice.

Codex Imperial Knights, 6e wrote:
986.M38 Justice
More than a thousand years after betraying their oaths of loyalty to the Imperium, the traitor Knights of House Drakon re-emerge at the head of a twisted host of Daemon machines created by the Dark Mechanicum. The warp-forged monstrosities are finally defeated amid the desecrated ruins of the forge world, Solemnium, after the Iron Hands Space Marine Chapter brings them to battle. However, it is the actions of a single Freeblade Knight that travels with the Space Marines that determine the course of the war. Known only as Justice, the Freeblade displays an incredible aptitude for destroying the traitor Knights, earning seven confirmed kills during the course of the war. Rumours abound in the wake of the conflict of quite how the lone Knight achieved such a mastery of combat against others of his kind. Of their enigmatic ally’s past, however, the Iron Hands would not speak. Despite some of House Drakon’s Knights escaping Imperial reprisal, their strength is now greatly diminished.

Re:Imperial Knights and Iron Hands

There's the Freeblade known as Justice.

Imust have missed that Thank You. But I was more of hoping to find an actual house that does work with the IH or has in the past. I may just go the route of house Raven or Taranis. Taranis being the IK of Mars, and Raven having the biggest blurb. Plus both have really nice paint schemes that would fit with IH without being IH look alikes.

I really wish that there was a description of Justice's appearance, it would be a nice addition to an IH force.

The fact their isn't a real description of this freeblade is both a good and a bad thing. Good because you get to paint him however you want and make him whatever variant you wish. Bad because if they ever decide to include him and his paint doesn't match yours, then you have a lot of work to go to stripping him. And if they actually showed him he might not be a good variant, or have underwhelming options as is often the case with things concerning Iron Hands. You really have to love Iron Hands to build around them if you are also interested in the fluff lol.

I for a while considered House Vulker for obvious reasons, but their lack of black just turned me off. The yellow is kinda ugly too.

House raven or Taranis might be my best bet.
