A darkly thrilling tabletop RPG now live on Kickstarter!

Echoes of the Fall is a bold and darkly thrilling role playing game that introduces a whole new way to experience classic tabletop gaming. By blending science-fiction, dark horror, and fantasy themes, your characters and the adventures they participate in will bring you hours of excitement! You will conquer vivid landscapes, discover untold fortunes, and trek through harrowing quests as one of the elite Phasma - a mech unit of virtually limitless power.

The Phasma are enormous forms of wire, synthetic mesh, and metal plate whose primary purpose was to visit destruction upon all who opposed them. These giant bodies of dense, armored plate serve to shield the soft, organic forms of the Corrites within. Once a Corrite enters the cockpit of their Phasma - which is little more than a dark pod - the Corrite links to their machine through the use of several pumps, wires, and a few rather...sensitive probes. After this process is completed, the Corrite and Phasma are one. Electrical impulses from the Corrite's brain, that once traveled along nerve strands and contracted muscles, now flow through the Phasma's circuitry to stimulate long fibers of synthetic tissue. The Corrite lives and thinks as the Phasma, the Phasma becomes the body of the Corrite - they are one entity, one form; their fates linked.

As the Corrites of Akrion chased war from one continent to the next, they began to modify and develop their Phasma to serve different purposes on the battlefield. These new adaptations were tried and tested across the planet, proving which modifications were best for the Phasma. After a time, the Corrites developed six classes of Phasma - each with their own abilities, specialties, talents, and functions. These six classes heralded a new period of war and shaped the events leading to the time period focused on in Echoes of the Fall.

As a player, you will choose one of these classes to build your character. You will choose one of the six to serve a distinct purpose on the battlefield with special abilities and actions that are unique to that class. With this power, will you usher in a new period of hope for Akrion? Or will you use it to bend the world to your will?

This is a miniature and dice-based board game that uses familiar tabletop elements blended with a newly developed Ratings system. This format welcomes any style of player with any level of experience!

The team at Echoes Development is proud to say we have been chosen as a Kickstarter Staff Pick!

We are independent game developers: a small group of nerdy friends based out of sunny San Diego, California with a passion for tabletop gaming and all the enjoyment it brings. We exist as a conglomeration of writers, artists, dreamers, and gamers who are working together to build an exciting new tabletop role-playing game for those who share our passion. We are super excited to bring this game to you guys! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!

Head over to our Kickstarter page to check out game play and game mechanics videos, concept art, and our goals.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/phasma/echoes-of-the-fall-core
