				<title>Karmoma Campaign</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys, I am in a recently started league here in the DFW area in Texas. There are 3 sides: Imperium, Chaos and Xenos. If you have read any of my batreps or list ideas I am an Eldar player and the Xenos seem to be on a roll to start, going undefeated in our first night. It is to be a 10 week campaign. There are all sorts of ways to play. Even planetstrike. So here is my first week's report:<br /> <br /> Week 1 (modified Scouring - only a 1,2,2,3 obj's w/STW, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(153);'>FB</span>, LB secondaries)<br /> My 1000 list:<br /> Farseer - bike, spear<br /> Spirit seer<br /> 5 wraithguard (cannons) - serpent w/starcannons, shuriken cannon<br /> 5 rangers<br /> 5 rangers<br /> Aspect Host:<br /> 5 dragons w/exarch<br /> 5 spiders w/exarch<br /> 5 reapers w/exarch and missiles<br /> <br /> His Khorne Demonkin list:<br /> Lord - jump pack, axe (turns you into a bloodthirster when you die), plasma pistol, 2+/4++ armor that gives <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span><br /> 8 possessed <br /> bloodletter herald (warlord) <br /> 3x bloodletter units deep striking<br /> Maulerfiend<br /> <br /> So I rolled divination on the farseer (He had literally no shooting so I didn't think invis would be necessary) and got perfect timing - which was what I wanted - and I rolled up santic on the spirit seer and got vortex. I hadn't ever gotten it, but knew I was going to throw one before the game was over. I managed to ingores cover (with perfect timing) the dark reapers and kill it in 2 turns of shooting. I ended up losing both units of rangers, the dragons, dark reapers and the wave serpent. Once again the reapers showed me that they are worth their weight in gold. <br /> <br /> Highlights were the fire dragons exarch holding up the chaos lord in combat for 2 turns! I actually wounded HIM twice! I rolled the 4+ invul blessing on divination as well and that helped me keep the bloodthirster away for awhile. The absolute best scene in the game was when the spirit seer threw a vortex and sucked up 4 bloodletters with a direct hit and then the wraithguard blew the other 3 away with their d-cannons! I rolled 5 dice at it and was concerned about a perils, but rolled four 5's and a 4 for 5 successes with no perils! My dice were pretty hot this game. I ended up winning 7-4 w/2&3 obj and STW + LB.<br /> <br /> What do y'all think about the list. I'll try to get on here and update my games each week to keep y'all informed. I wasn't impressed with the rangers as 2 troop choices so this week (and then the next two after) are at 1250 points, so I will probably bring a unit of guardians with a starcannon platform instead of the 2nd ranger unit. The 2 squads killed like 3 bloodletters and put 2 wounds on the herald all game between the 2 units.<br /> <br /> Thanks for the insight!<br /> ]]></description>
