WIndows Ten

For those of you who have Windows Ten, could you help me out?

Whenever I'm playing a game, Cortana randomly says the letter of the key that I hit. For isntance, if I'm playing an FPS, it'll say "w,w,w,a,a,d,s,w,s,s,w,d,d,d" while I'm playing, and it's getting annoying as crap. Would anybody know how to turn Cortana off?

Weird, if you're full screen then you shouldn't be able to access your desktop. What it sounds like is that you're opening up the toolbar and then typing the letters into Cortana, which shouldn't happen. Does it occur with only that one game or all of them? It may be down to how that one's set up. Is it in full screen mode (and if so is it true full screen or emulated)? Probably moot questions though if you're fine with just turning Cortana off.

Edit: Windows + S opens Cortana. Again I don't know what game you're playing, but IIRC ARMA uses the Windows key for some commands, so it could be that whilst accessing one of those you've opened Cortana. You could perhaps remade that shortcut, but as has been said, just turning off that feature entirely is easier.

Look for Accessibility or "Ease of access" options.
In older Windows, holding a certain key (left-shift) will turn it on, and your deafness functions would turn on, if you had them set.
I doubt it's Cortana, but is using the voice.
