Turn 1 was pretty tame with me getting initiative and taking out his Wolf Scouts who were camped in the church tower. He responded by zapping a HP off a Speeder and popping a RG Razorback.

Here is the battlefield at the end of the match. As you can see turn 4 was the decisive turn. I managed to score big hits with my plasma Devs and I got into a good combat against his Terminators with my own TDA vets, the Chaplain and Wolf Priest had a duel but it was anti climactic, no one was injured. I challenged with my Chaplain so that my power axe weilding captain could force invul saves on his Wolf Guard termies. He had decided to give them all power swords hoping to slaughter lighter targets, but I scooted that chance away in my trusty Rhino. He did manage to put down a few of my termies with massed fire but it wasn't enough and I got the lucky charge in. That combat could have gone differently though but the odds were in my favour. Now if he had 10 of them against my 5? Maybe not... Those assault cannons do hurt though. The Blood Claws had Lukas with them and so I was keen to thin them out and was lucky enough to not have to face him in melee.

I guess that's all I can really say about the game deciding turn. I got lucky with my Devastators and got the Terminators into combat when they really needed to be. If my IH captain had been forced to endure another round of Wolf Guard assault cannon abuse I doubt he'd have made it.

The game all star trophy goes to the RG plasma Devs who took out a few Terminators and scored big on the Blood Claws stealing the Wolves only chance at victory.
