				<title>GK Dreadnoughts still worth it?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So forgive me if this has been talked about somewhere else.  I'm just getting back into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> and trying to wrap my head around all the changes with 7th edition.   (I stopped playing shortly after 6th came out).  But I see that my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> Dreads cost about 150 (with weapons) and have 2 less attacks then our <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> allies Dreads that only cost 125.  Is there any reason to still take a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> dread?  What am I missing?  I feel that if I want a dread, I'll take an allied detachment then I can have my choice of Libby Dread, or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(124);'>SW</span> Bjorn dreads, vanilla dreads.......  <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Honestly, not really.<br /> <br /> Personally I think the only really thing that makes regular dreads good is either a pod or a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> frag launcher. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GKs</span> don't either.<br /> <br /> They are average with double autocannons though, and like many <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> units, nerfed by the loss of psybolt.]]></description>

				<title>GK Dreadnoughts still worth it?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ The only thing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> dreds have over other dreds is psychic pilot and naturally learning Sanctuary. But they missed out on the general dred buff that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> got in their dex so they are comparably over-costed and with worse stats.<br /> <br /> However one thing I have tried to use them for with mixed success is one of the few sources of long range fire power in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> army. I once ran a list with 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Lascannon / Missile Launcher dreds, parked them in cover an took decent pot shots at enemy armour. Pricey in a codex full of pricey stuff, but that's the only way I personally see them being useful and even then its only maybe worth in a fluff list.]]></description>

I would't mind trying this out to get my meticulously painted dread back in my list from time to time. Otherwise, I wouldn't use dreads at all. ]]></description>

But, no, when the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> fortress on Titan was stocked with the best equipment Malcador could acquire from throughout the Imperium, Contemptor dreadnoughts were somehow not on the shopping list. 				<description><![CDATA[ They can work out if you are taking the Landing Pad. With the 'Walls' up and Sanctuary you end up with a 3++ save.<br /> I would only use it if you are taking the Landing Pad to get your Raven on the table on turn 1.]]></description>
