Lighting Battle Reports - Help Needed

Greetings Gamers,

Just throwing this question out to the community to get some feedback. I'm gearing up to start my own YouTube channel and to start making battle reports. My question is, What is the best type of lighting to use. My footage atm with just a normal interior light overhead is really dull on film. Can anyone point me to some useful articles on lighting for either videography or photography? Or provide any feedback from your own experience. Also can anyone recommend good light stands to use for a low price.

My plan of action at the moment is to paint the room walls and ceiling white to reflect more light. Also I was considering getting 4 tall light stands to shine light from all directions of the table. Can anyone suggest what type of bulbs to use for recording video footage?

Thanks in advance.
