40k Alternative Maelstrom Objectives & Rules

For the tournaments I've run this year, we've been using a heavily reworked Maelstrom format as one of our mission types:

http://www.rocketshipgames.com/blogs/tjkopena/2015/10/alternate-maelstrom/

The new tactical objectives have a couple fairly unique mechanics that people into such topics might appreciate. The checkmark table implementation also has some logistical qualities that organizers of small, frequent events might appreciate. The blog post has a lot of details and rationale, but you can quickly check it out via the table screenshot below (there's a PDF linked from the post). It's worked really well in our events, and I'd love to hear any comments and suggestions for further improvements, or if other people wind up doing anything with it on their own.

Thx!
