I am building a Tau Army and I would like to know what marking signifies what rank.

I have both versions of the Tau Codex and I have not seen a direct reference to what I am looking for.

So if one or more of you learned Tau players can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

The "Kauyon" Supplement is a two book set. One set has rules, scenarios, and other bits(for you as a Tau player?
